There is no shortage of nice restaurants in Las Vegas and 35 Steaks & Martinis at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino qualifies to be on that list. The restaurant is a traditional steakhouse with a contemporary interior design that keeps the atmosphere fresh and inviting.
Seating options include comfortable booths and tables amply lit with multiple chrome pendant lamps. Additional seating is available in the lounge and at the bar for anyone interested in grabbing appetizers and cocktails before catching a concert at the Joint. Guests will be equally satisfied whether searching for romantic restaurants in Las Vegas, an upscale place to dine with pals or the best Las Vegas steak houses to entertainment business associates.
The restaurant serves choice prime steak but what sets it apart from other Las Vegas steakhouses is its massive Tomahawk Steak, a 35-ounce hunk of meat dry-aged for 35 days, carved for one or two and with a price tag more than $130. It should now be clear how the restaurant got its name.
Other options include a 22-ounce 1855 Black Angus wet aged steak and a 16-ounce bone-in USDA Prime dry aged cut. Chefs will prepare any steak on the menu Oscar, Rossini or au poivre style.
Steaks play the starring roles on this restaurant’s menu but there are plenty of other tasty options for diners who prefer seafood, shellfish, lamb or burgers. The menu also offers a fine selection of appetizers to start with from cured meats and cheeses served with toasted baguette compotes for $14 a serving to broiled colossal tiger prawns with charred tomato sauce, Thai basil salad and mango for $28. The Happy Hour Menu offers select appetizers for less than $15.
Libations include a selection of 35 different martinis and signature cocktails, including the Spicy Serrano Martini made with Belvedere, Serrano chiles and fresh basil. The large wine list offers a variety of award-winning labels.
Subtle and not so subtle tributes to Elvis Presley throughout the eatery reveal yet another significance of the number 35. He was born in 1935 and that’s why you see his photos enhancing the décor, Elvis lyrics printed on the dessert menu and the restaurant’s signature King of Desserts. This sweet concoction combines creamy peanut butter ice cream and fresh banana slices tops it all with bits of chocolate covered bacon.
35 Steaks & Martinis offers the ideal place to start any evening out whenever you are looking for fine dining in Las Vegas at its best any night of the week. Stop by the lounge Friday or Saturday nights for cocktails and live entertainment.
