Ghost Bar at Palms Las Vegas

If you crave spectacular nightscape views with your adult beverages, Ghostbar is the place to party for you. Perched high atop the Palms Hotel and Casino on the Ivory Tower’s 55th floor, this chic nightspot looks like an ultra lounge but acts like a nightclub.

The venue opened in 2001 and now bills itself as the first ultralounge, boutique nightclub in Sin City. In mid-2013, the space received a fresh facelift giving it a more sophisticated design. High-back settees covered in black leather and leather banquettes around the edge of the main room offer table service guests eye-popping views through 14’ windows with 180-degree views of Las Vegas.

A fireplace illuminated with floating candles and elegant Murano-style lighting fixtures complement the white, black and bright fuchsia accents.

The main room opens seamlessly onto the patio where boxwood hedges line the deck and frame the amazing views beyond. Reserve an outdoor table or order a drink from the bar and dare to step onto the glass floor insert. Look down for a heart stopping view of the Palms Pool and Bungalows, 55 floors below.

Live DJs keep the atmosphere lively, and while it may call itself a nightclub, the one element Ghostbar lacks is a proper dance floor. But that doesn’t stop guests from showing off their moves anywhere they find enough open floor space.

The venue offers an extensive specialty cocktail menu. The signature Ghostini is a tasty concoction made with Ketel Citroen, sweet & sour mix and pineapple juice.

From October through February, Ghostbar is home to its infamous Day Club party where costumes are encouraged and anything legal goes with special performances, beer bongs, confetti cannons, stilt walkers and more.

The Palms is conveniently located just a short drive west of the strip on Flamingo Rd. Access to Ghostbar is via an elevator located at the south end of the property, between the main casino entrance and the south self-parking lot.

Ghostbar is one of the few upscale lounges that throws open its doors before 10 pm making it the ideal place for groups to warm-up for an evening out on the town. Of course, if you prefer to do all your partying in one location, reserve a table, kick back and enjoy your drinks with a view.
