You’ll have to venture east of the Las Vegas Strip to find Havana Grill but your reward for your adventurous spirit will be the discovery of a Vegas restaurant serving up some of the best Cuban cuisine outside Havana itself.
The rustic dated décor only adds to the comfortable ambience in this standalone restaurant located right next door to the Regal Colonnade 14 cinema house at the intersection of Pebble Rd and Eastern Ave.
A visit to Havana Grill immerses you in the vibrant Cuban culture with its exotic flavors, intoxicating scents and lively environment. Chef Sergio Perez immigrated from Cuba more than two decades ago with the dream of recreating his mother’s traditional recipes for American foodies. He opened his first restaurant, Florida Café, in downtown Las Vegas more than ten years ago. Havana Grill is an updated version of that establishment offering a more upscale but still casual dining experience. During the weekends, the restaurant morphs into a high-energy nightclub featuring live music for what many people think is the best Latin Night in Sin City.
Chef Perez combines fresh and natural ingredients to create authentic Cuban cuisine that will transport you instantly to the tropics. Guests can dine on Cuban sandwiches grilled to perfection, traditional fried cow, slow-roasted pork, tender sirloin steak, paella or ropa vieja. All entrees come with white rice and colorados or black beans.
Specialty drinks include a wide variety of daiquiris and flavored mojitos sold by the glass or by the pitcher. The Havana Mama mixes light and Malibu rums with orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine plus a float of Myers rum. Guests may also order bottle service complete with a choice of garnishes and mixers.
Guests can eat indoors or request a table on the patio. Outside tables offer spectacular views of the desert with the mountains in the distance. On Friday and Saturday nights, guests are invited to stick around after dinner to enjoy lively music provided by some of the most talented Latin musicians in Las Vegas.
Happy Hour pricing offers a great value for your drinking dollar with 50 percent off all drinks every Tuesday through Sunday from 4 pm until 7 pm.
