LUX POOL - BEACH LIFE AT SLS LAS VEGAS

SLS Las Vegas is bringing chic back to the north end of the Las Vegas Strip with brand new ways to party, indoors and outdoors, both during the day and after dark. The property is brought to Sin City by sbe, an international entertainment company under the direction of CEO, chairman and founder Sam Nazarian. SLS has a style all its own and a place where retro and modern vibes come together in unexpected ways.

LUX Pool/Beach LiFe is a single entertainment space that takes on two entirely different personalities. By day, Luxe Pool is a posh rooftop pool lounge for adults only. At 10,000 square feet, this pool is a lot smaller than most of the other adult pools in town. But that’s exactly what makes it such a great place to chill out and enjoy the sunshine.

The pool deck has a country club vibe rather than the lush green tropical paradise most other pools have gone for with their décor. Clean white lounge chairs with small side tables line both long sides of the rectangular pool. Guests also have the option of renting one of the half dozen day beds. Eighteen cabanas with black and white striped canopies and curtains line the perimeter of the complex.

The pool has a dedicated bar and centrally located DJ booth with a stage, along with two ancillary DJ booths. Soothing beats provide the perfect background sounds for soaking up the rays. Guests can order drinks from the bar while dining on light fare from the poolside dining menu.

After dark, LUX Pool transforms into Beach LiFE, which serves as an outdoor party deck for LiFE Nightclub. The pool area is accessible by a stairway leading up from the nightclub. Inside, the venue sprawls out over 20,000 square feet under 60-foot high ceilings. Its unique location inside the former Sahara Theater allows for eye-popping visuals and entertainment, including aerialists swinging through the air above the dance floor or soaring over the crowd on zip lines. Massive high def LED screens behind the DJ booth provide a constant kaleidoscope of mesmerizing images. Dozens of VIP tables are tiered around the perimeter to allow for unobstructed views of the DJ, featured performers and the action on the dance floor.
