Palazzo Las Vegas offers many fine dining options but SushiSamba provides an experience unlike any other.

Located in the Canal Shoppes at the popular Strip resort, this vibrant restaurant serves up a variety of dishes that fuse Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian culinary influences.

Samba Brands Management operates restaurants in Coral Gables, London, Miami and New York in addition to the restaurant in Las Vegas. The company is known for pursuing cutting-edge concepts that set trends in the industry making it a perfect match for one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

The décor recreates a Carnival-like atmosphere that is stunning to behold. When guests walk through the glass entryway, the first thing they notice is the massive multi-colored art installation winding its way throughout the space.

The 14,000 square foot space has a large dining room, a drink bar and a sushi bar for serving guests. One of the focal points in the restaurant is the large robata grill displayed in a glass case. Robata is Japanese-style grilling that originated in the northern region of the country. It uses a special type of charcoal heated until it glows red. When foods with high content, such as Wagyu beef from Japan, are cooked with this method the result is a crunchy outside crust, a deep smoky flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.

SushiSamba offers an extensive menu In addition to items cooked on the robata grill. Diners can choose from a tasty variety of apertivos, soups and small and large plates. If you are on a quest for the best sushi in Las Vegas, check out their Samba rolls, nigiri and sashimi.

Tasty treats on the dessert menu are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. Try the Peruvian Chocolate Ganache, a decadent dish made with roasted peanut ice cream covered with chocolate crumb, peanut crema, cusquena caramel and candied peanuts.

SambaHour takes place every Sunday through Friday from 4 pm until 7 pm and again from 11 pm until close. You’ll have to sit at the bar to take advantage of the food and drink specials, which include selected apertivos, sushi dishes and cocktails for $6 each. Specialty cocktails include the Caipirinha, the national drink of Brazil, combining Leblon cachaca with sugar syrup and freshly muddled lime served in a short glass. The Nina Fresa consists of strawberry infused vodka, guava juice, orange liqueur, fresh limes and strawberries served up.

Sakeoke takes open mic karaoke to all new levels every Friday and Saturday night from 11 pm until 2 am with a special selection of food and drink items priced at $8 or less.
