WET REPUBLIC AT MGM LAS VEGAS

Wet Republic opened its doors at the MGM Grand during 2008 as one of the first purpose-built adult dayclubs in Las Vegas. Its goal was to create a party experience during daylight hours that would rival Sin City’s vibrant nightlife. This idea of offering “daylife” adult party options quickly caught on and adult pool clubs has become one of the biggest entertainment trends in Las Vegas.

Wet Republic was the first resort venue in the city to install saltwater swimming pools with more than 6,000 square feet of pool space, including six private VIP dipping pools. The massive open-air lounge has a marble-topped bar that stretches 95-feet long allowing the bartenders to keep the libations flowing for the masses. This area offers a welcome respite from the hot desert sun and provides the perfect place for guests to mix and mingle in the shade.

The bright blue and white linen palette offers a sophisticated country club backdrop as sun-kissed partiers rock to the beats of the latest and greatest DJ talent. LED walls have become standard equipment in adult entertainment venues and Wet Republic has one that spans 1,200 square feet over the state-of-the-art DJ booth. Dedicated visual performers add their talents to the show.

You would expect a 54,000 square foot venue to offer multiple VIP experiences and Wet Republic does. Guests can choose from day beds, lounge tables, dance floor tables, deck tables, cabanas and ultra luxurious bungalows.

Day bed rentals are the most affordable way to party in the sun like a VIP. The comfortable king-sized beds are scattered around the pool deck and provide plush seating for four to six people in the middle of all the action.

Tables in the open-air lounge are in the shade overlooking the pool close to the DJ booth and steps away from the main bar. Couches and ottomans offer enough space to accommodate up to 10 guests.

Dance floor banquettes are located adjacent to the main pool and dance floor. Groups of up to 10 can relax under a large umbrella while enjoying great views of the featured DJ. Deck tables with U-shaped seating face the DJ booth and offer another option for guests who want to be close to the pool.

Wet Republic’s deluxe cabanas are close to the action elevated above the main pool. They come equipped with couches, personals safes for storing valuable, high definition TVs and refrigerators.

Luxurious bungalows offer the ultimate poolside VIP experience with dedicated restrooms, multiple private dipping pools, flat screen TVs, safes, ceiling fans and king sized daybeds.

Wet Republic is host to the annual Hot 100 contest on select Fridays throughout pool season. The city’s most gorgeous ladies don their skimpiest bikinis and rock the stage while celebrity judges vote for their favorites. This popular event hands out $150,000 in cash and prizes to Sin City’s sexiest ladies.

Parking is available behind the MGM Grand off Koval Lane. This is one of the few resort pools in town to offer a dedicated parking deck and valet saving you the long walk through the casino.
